At the beginning of The Hounds of Baskerville, the bell rings, and the comments go like this:
John: Single ring. Sherlock: Maximum pressure adjusted to the half-second. Client!
At least, I THINK that’s what Sherlock says.
So here is my question: why does he say that?! What does it mean?

The problem isn’t that she’s female. It’s not even that she’s female and Sherlock isn’t. It’s that she’s female and they changed the backstory to be completely illogical. For this backstory to work, they had to change a fundamental part of the Watson character—not his gender, but his skills and reliability as a doctor. that is the part that I am annoyed at.
